Local Two-Day Oasis Seminars (show | hide)
The Preachers' Oasis is not just a week-long event on Calvin's campus in Grand Rapids but is a portable seminar that can come to you. If you would like to arrange a two-day Oasis event in your town or region, please contact Rev. Scott Hoezee at seh6@calvinseminary.edu or call him at 616-957-6085.
The two-day event can take place in groups as small as 6 or as large as 25. Many of the same topics covered in the week-long event are covered in the two-day seminar. Participants in local seminars do not submit video sermons but are encouraged to survey their congregations to help set the agenda for group discussions.
The Center for Excellence in Preaching has funds available such that two-day Oasis seminars are fully funded. If you would like to investigate setting up an Oasis event in your area, contact Scott Hoezee today!
The Preachers' Oasis 2008: July 7-11, 2008 (show | hide)
Beginning in the Fall of 2007, applications for the 2008 week-long Preachers' Oasis will be accepted through March 1, 2008. Those who are accepted into the program will be notified by March 15, 2008. The week-long Oasis program includes a travel stipend, lodging at the Prince Conference Center on the Calvin College campus, many meals, and all instruction and materials.
