The Calvin Center for Faith & Writing’s mission is to celebrate a Reformed engagement with the written word, championing faithful and intelligent conversation about the intersections of religious belief and literature, both broadly defined. In all its activities, the CCFW endeavors to create spaces wherein people from many faith traditions are welcomed warmly, listened to with respect and generosity, and inspired to deeper engagement with the common good.

The 2020 Festival of Faith & Writing will take place April 16-18 on the campus of Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This biennial gathering brings together readers—many of whom are also writers—in a lively weekend of conversations, readings, concerts, workshops, film screenings, and more.
